Pilates
These sessions are ideal for absolute beginners, those seeking a gentle return to exercise after injury, or anyone looking to revisit the fundamentals of Pilates and refine their technique.
The sessions are led by Natalie, a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience and more than 5 years of Pilates teaching. Natalie is fully certified in Matwork Pilates through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).
What is the APPI Method?
Developed by physiotherapists, the APPI method is a globally recognised and clinically informed approach to Pilates. It focuses on activating the deep postural muscles that support the spine, improving functional movement, and building a body that moves efficiently and is less prone to pain or injury. Exercises are carefully modified to suit all levels, allowing for safe and progressive development tailored to individual needs.
Benefits of Pilates:
- Core strength and spinal support
- Improved posture
- Increased strength and flexibility
- Enhanced mind-body connection
- Reduced stress and tension
