PRACTICE UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 2020
An update on the changes we've been making to keep you safe.
For many of us, we have learnt to adjust our lives to live alongside Covid 19. At Select Physio we have done precisely that: we have set up our policies and procedures to follow the strict guidelines set out by the Government and our professional bodies. We are treating patients both remotely and face-to-face.
I am happy to say it is working very well. We offer patients a video consultation for their first appointment, which allows us to assess their problem and clinically reason whether we need to bring them in for a face-to-face consultation or not. There are many advantages to this:
We are seeing many patients with different problems and injuries, sadly many of you have had to wait for several months self-managing your condition. The response and feedback we are getting from our patients is so positive and certainly makes our job, which is more challenging at the moment with the use of PPE, the cleaning in between patients and the length of time we are working in order to be able to implement these measures, so worthwhile.
We are also delighted to announce that Natalie, a key member of our musculoskeletal team is planning to start a new Pilates class and can offer one to one tuition prior to joining the class. This should compliment the yoga classes run by Sarah via Zoom at present, as well as the one to one sessions Sarah is offering her patients.
We will continue to follow the strict guideline before starting with any live classes making sure a suitable venue with adequate ventilation and space is used. If you are at all interested in joining either Natalie’s Pilates class or Sarah yoga classes please contact us at the practice on 01905 381415 or email them directly on
email@example.com (Pilates) or Sarah@selectphysio.co.uk (yoga).
If you need our help or advice please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing you, whether over webcam or in person, soon.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this time.
